Overnight Doorperson (Full Time)

The Doorman serves as a visible front-line presence at a Staten Island property, helping residents, tenants, or visitors enter and exit the building in an orderly way. Core duties typically include greeting people, monitoring arrivals and departures, managing access to the premises, accepting deliveries when appropriate, and keeping the lobby area professional and secure. The role may also involve answering basic questions, observing activity in common areas, and reporting concerns to building management or security personnel. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a courteous manner, good judgment, and the ability to remain attentive during routine and busy periods. Prior customer service, security, or building services experience is useful. Physical demands may include standing for long periods, opening doors, and occasional lifting of packages. This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, or holiday hours depending on building coverage needs.
