Responsibilities
Full‑time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.
Admit Discharge Nurse is a registered nurse who serves a supportive role for the nursing staff and the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for staffing and patient monitoring, and facilitating timely admissions, transfers, and discharges to improve patient throughput and reduce ED holds.
This role includes initiating admission assessments, transporting patients department to department, participating in patient monitoring for tests and procedures, providing discharge teaching, and ensuring prompt discharge upon receipt of discharge orders. Strong communication, clinical expertise, data analytics, and empathy are required to monitor and support patients during transport and procedures.

Qualifications
Current registered nurse licensed to practice in California.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting, medical‑surgical, critical care, or care‑coordination.
Microsoft Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Management of assaultive behavior and de‑escalation techniques within six months of hire.
