Short Term General Surgery Locums Need (Physician #)

AnMed Medical Center is looking for Cardiothoracic Surgeon locum coverage for 2024! Open dates: July 11 (5p) = July 16 (7a) - PROVIDER MUST GO TO JUNE MEC on 6/27!! Job Details: Reason for coverage: only have 1 CT physician on staff Practice setting: Hospital Patient demographic: 100% adult Provider in practice: 1 physician, 1 mid-level Locum will be required to supervise other providers; there will be a PA working with the locum Labs & X-rays on-site EMR: EPIC Required Procedures: General CV/thoracic surgery Coronary artery bypass surgery - on pump Congenital defects (preferred) Valvular repair & repair (preferred) Aneurysm repair (cardiac & aorto-thoracic - preferred) Lung resection (preferred) Chest wall or pleural procedures (preferred) Evaluation & management of acute vol/BP issues (preferred) Insertion of central line, arterial line, PA catheter, IABP (preferred) Credentialing timeframe: ~ 90-120 days for full privileges; temp privileges available Requirement description : Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon - REQUIRED Active SC license & DEA - REQUIRED CLEAN BACKGROUND; NO EXCEPTIONS Must be available for the July dates; call out at time of name clear Weekend Requirements : Yes On Call Requirements : Yes
