• Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) School-Based Responsibilities:

Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with treatment planning, speech therapy preparation, and implementation of student communication goals.

Document client performance and progress during therapy sessions.

Prepare therapy materials and equipment for upcoming sessions.

Assist in the assessment of speech and language disorders.

Support the SLP in screenings and evaluations.

Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication goals.

Maintain therapy schedules, service logs, and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.

Assist with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) implementation when appropriate.

Associate or bachelor's degree in communication sciences and Disorders or another qualifying program

Active MA License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

School-based experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is strongly preferred.
