Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Weekend Only Shift

Registered Nurse In Emergency RoomRN position in the Emergency Department. Shift is 3x12 hours, with shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekends required every other week. Previous experience as a charge nurse is preferred. Experience with Epic charting system is necessary. One request for time off allowed per contract. Flu vaccine is required unless a medical or religious exemption is provided. Abdominal pain management - Acute psychosis care - Arterial line management - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood product administration - Care of ventilated patients - Central line care and management - Chest tube insertion and management - Continuous IV paralytics and sedation - Emergency medications administration - Triage and management of multi-system organ dysfunction - Seizure management - Psychiatric hold management - Interpretation of arterial blood gases - Management of violent behavior - Phlebotomy - Poison ingestion management - Procedural sedation administration and monitoring - Stroke and STEMI certified facility procedures. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Strong interdisciplinary support is available in the unit.
