Radiologic Technologist
Part-Time (35 Hours/Biweekly)
Shift: Evening shift with rotating call and holidays.
Performs diagnostic procedures in one of the following specialty areas at an intermediate level: complex orthopedic, neuro and vascular operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and portable C-arm procedures); oversees the work of other personnel by training, allocating and monitoring work. Properly processes images using digital technology; resolves problems in the PACS and EHR systems, has the ability to cancel unnecessary orders upon request of providers(site specific)
Evaluates recorded images for technical quality, consistently maintains a repeat rate under the National Standard of 65
Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed; participates in at least 1 project including but not limited to: equipment QA (monthly, quarterly testing), creating standards of work, engagement committee.
Assesses and interprets patient age specific data and provides appropriate, age specific treatment. learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Provides outstanding service to all customers; On call requirements are defined separately by each hospital
High School Diploma or GED Required
