Mortgage Originator- Remote

Join Our Team as a Remote Mortgage Underwriter! Are you an experienced mortgage underwriter looking for a remote opportunity with a community bank dedicated to making lives better? We believe in supporting our community, our customers, and our employees. Underwriting Excellence: Review and underwrite loan applications to ensure they meet bank, FHA/VA, and secondary market standards.

Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with processors, lenders, and other internal and external customers.

Provide guidance to internal and external customers on loan-related queries.

Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and Bank lending policies.

Full-time, exempt position

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

At least 2 years of experience as a mortgage underwriter or certified processor

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
