Job Description Job Summary: The Buyer will demonstrate the ability to procure goods and services at the best value for CRMC, supporting the goals of the Supply Chain Management team while meeting the needs of providers and patients. The Buyer will be efficient in problem-solving and utilizing automated tools provided by the facility.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Create and transmit purchase orders using ERP software, ensuring accuracy of data and adherence to contracted and standardized goods and services.
Research and obtain a minimum of three quotes for off-catalog, non-contracted, one-time items/services, and negotiate to award purchases that bring the best value to CRMC.
Communicate with suppliers and customers to validate information and finalize transactions.
Follow-up and expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, including emergency orders for critical patient-care items.
Build rapport within the organization and serve as a resource and trainer regarding procurement policies, product, and contract information.

Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent
