Registered Nurse - Oncology
Schedule
Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks.
Requirements

• 2 Years Oncology Experience Required.
• BLS Certification required.
• IV Therapy/Infusions competence.
• Experience in handling oncologic emergencies.
• Ability to perform various patient care skills including but not limited to, pain management, telemetry interpretation, and post-surgical care.
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities.
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Pending license accepted.
• RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days.

Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for patients in various phases of cancer treatment.
Administer chemotherapy and manage associated side effects.
Monitor and assess patient symptoms, adjusting care as needed.
Support patients and families with psychosocial care and education.
Ensure adherence to safety and care protocols for oncology patients.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care.
