LVN, Licensed Vocational Nurse - Emergency Care

Delegate tasks to nursing staff and monitor performance.

Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in physical or mental condition.

Notify physicians of emergencies or patient deaths and implement physician orders.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities Assist in directing nursing services for a designated unit under RN supervision.

Delegate tasks to nursing staff and monitor performance.

Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in physical or mental condition.

Notify physicians of emergencies or patient deaths and implement physician orders.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills High school diploma and licensed practical nurse certification from an accredited school.

Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with biannual renewal.

Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies for coverage.

Ability to provide quality geriatric nursing care, follow doctor's orders, and demonstrate genuine interest in patient well-being.

CPR certification renewed annually and participation in staff training and meetings.

Key Duties: Assist in patient care, monitor patient conditions, delegate tasks, communicate with physicians, and ensure quality nursing services in a caring environment.
