Contract | Nights | Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities

Provide inpatient acute care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions including COPD, CHF, diabetes, sepsis, renal conditions, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, overdoses, pneumonia, and other respiratory, neuro, surgical, and cardiac diagnoses
Manage and monitor patients on BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, NG tubes, PICC lines, central lines, and dialysis; care for ablation and cath lab patients
Read and interpret telemetry monitoring for assigned patients
Document patient care using EPIC EMR and administer medications via Pyxis dispensing system
Maintain a patient assignment of 3–4 patients per nurse in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit (32 private-room beds)
Float to other units as needed, including ICU (2:1 ratio) or general medical floors (5–6:1 ratio), based on unit needs and experience level
Required Qualifications

Active RN licensure in good standing
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
Ability to read and interpret telemetry
Demonstrated comfort and competency with chest tube management
Preferred Experience / Skills

Extensive ICU experience (required for potential ICU float assignments)
Prior experience with EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
Background in stepdown, PCU, or IMC nursing in an acute inpatient setting
