Product Manager for Certification and Governance

As the Product Manager for Certification and Governance, you will be pivotal in shaping a core component of our identity security platform. Access Certifications are the cornerstone of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. You'll be using AI to identify patterns and provide recommendations to administrators and reviewers to help them govern and secure access to business critical applications. Your days will be dynamic, ranging from strategic planning and market analysis to collaborating with engineering on the technical details of a new feature. You will be the voice of the customer, translating their needs into actionable product requirements, and working to define and execute a product vision that leverages AI to enhance the user experience. Our team is dedicated to a culture of open communication and teamwork, where you will work closely with other product managers, engineers, architects, and marketing to bring your vision to life.

Introduce yourself to key stakeholders, including engineering leads, other product managers, and marketing counterparts, to understand their roles and establish working relationships.

• Take ownership of the product backlog, prioritizing features based on customer feedback and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to refine requirements for the next product release and finalize the sprint plan.
• Independently lead a feature from conception to launch, managing the entire development lifecycle.
• Conduct your first customer feedback session to gather insights for future product iterations. Propose and lead a strategic initiative to improve the product, such as a new integration or a significant user experience overhaul.
• Demonstrated success in working with engineering teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise software products.

Experience managing SaaS and/or cloud infrastructure products.

Experience in the Identity security field is highly desirable.

Experience using AI tooling to accelerate personal and team productivity.

Experience shipping products with AI-powered features that enhance customer experiences.

Work with any open platform connectivity technologies such as web and micro-services is a plus

BA/BS in business or technical field required. MBA is a plus.

Travel:

This position requires approximately 15% travel.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint's differing products, industries, and lines of business.
