Requirements
The Line Cook plays a critical role in delivering the exceptional food quality that defines the Tacos & Tequila Cantina experience. This position is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes, food safety standards, and quality expectations while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
What You'll Do:
Prepare with Excellence

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
Ensure food quality, taste, temperature, and appearance meet brand expectations.
Coordinate food production to support efficient and timely service.
Maintain Food Safety Standards

Follow all sanitation, food handling, personal hygiene, and health regulations.
Complete food temperature checks and maintain proper food storage procedures.
Label, date, and rotate products to ensure freshness and food safety compliance.
Keep the Kitchen Running Smoothly

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and report repair or maintenance needs.
Minimize waste through proper handling of food, supplies, and equipment.
Work as One Team

Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively during busy service periods.
Remain open to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Deliver on Our Standards

Follow all Tacos & Tequila Cantina policies, procedures, and daily operational expectations.
Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to contribute to a successful shift.
