Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Location: Lynchburg, Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Rehabilitation unit. The RN will provide exceptional care to patients recovering from various conditions, including strokes, brain injuries, multi-trauma, and orthopedic injuries. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and compassion necessary to support patients as they regain their independence.

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a rehabilitation environment.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition and treatment response.

Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and recovery plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Valid RN license in the state of Virginia.

BLS certification.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or med-surg setting.

Experience with Cerner EHR is required.
