Hospital Phlebotomist- Entry Level!

Pride Health is hiring an Entry Level Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Greenville, NC 27834. This is a 6‑month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top‑tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Entry Level Phlebotomist

Duration: 6+ months contract (possibilities of extension)

Shift: The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life‑defining health decisions. The entry PSR I helps with patient care by greeting them upon arrival and answering any questions or concerns with care and compassion, maintaining the integrity of the waiting area and assisting with breaks when other phlebotomists are unavailable. This individual will also be trained on phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.

Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check‑ins in the lobby through either a self‑service kiosk or handheld tablet.

Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills during downtime or breaks, and to perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence once skills are obtained.

High level of customer service experience / skills are required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1–2 years of client‑facing customer service (retail, home health aide, etc.).

Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.

Prior phlebotomy experience is not required, but candidates must be willing to learn and perform phlebotomy duties. Front‑desk or greeter positions without phlebotomy are not acceptable.
