Shop Welder - FULL TIME

Reports to: Shop General Foreman

Position Status: Full Time

Standard schedule is Monday through Friday. Weekends on an as needed basis.

At H+M Industrial EPC the Shop Combo Welder plays a vital role in our fabrication operations, using TIG, MIG, and Fluxcore welding techniques to produce high-quality welds essential for project success. This position supports our mission to deliver safe, reliable, and precise welded components by ensuring that all work meets strict quality standards and aligns with project specifications

Perform TIG, MIG, and Fluxcore welding techniques on various metal types and thicknesses.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

Set up and adjust welding equipment to appropriate configurations for each project.

Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure quality and accuracy per company standards.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Proven experience as a combo welder with a focus on TIG, MIG, and Fluxcore welding.

Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a fabrication shop.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Familiarity with safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Use arms and hands to signal, reach for, handle or manipulate objects, materials, and tools.

Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
