Dishwasher / Kitchen Assistant - Full-Time

Location: Tinker Air Force Base - Midwest City, OK

Environment: Fast-Paced Industrial Kitchen

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Shift: 9 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $17.75 / hr.

DRTC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher / Ware Washer to support our busy, high-volume restaurant. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting the overall team during peak service times.

Ability One Position

This position is specifically set-aside to employ a person with a disability. Documentation of a disability is required. Key Responsibilities

Set up and organize dish stations, including chemicals, racks, mats, and soaking solutions.

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.

Operate and maintain dishwashing/ware washer equipment.

Keep kitchen areas, floors, surfaces, and equipment clean and organized.

Remove trash, clean containers, and maintain waste and loading areas.

Sort, rinse, and properly rack dishes, glassware, and utensils.

Stock serving lines and maintain dish and supply levels.

Assist with inventory, food storage, labeling, and rotation.

Support kitchen staff during busy periods and special events.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.

Report maintenance or safety issues and assist team members as needed.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

High School Diploma or GED

Must have Real ID compliant identification

Must be able to pass OSBI and other required background checks

Food industry experience preferred, but not required

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude

Must be able to follow verbal and written directions

Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively

Comfortable working with industrial cleaning supplies

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for 8 hours

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. vertically and 25 lbs. horizontally

Must be able to carry loads up to 100 feet

Must be able to work in a hot, wet, and fast-paced environment

Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and walking

Adequate mobility, vision, hearing, and dexterity for job duties
