Location: Marietta, GA region Employment Type: PRN (as needed) Compensation: $32/hr Incentives: No sign-on bonus is being offered for PRN status. No relocation packaged offered. Schedule: 7am - 7pm OR 7pm - 7am Max Patient Caseload: 4 Job Responsibilities Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled Conduct medication closest assessments Collect health related data Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported Requirements Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level.
