As a Supervisory Program Manager (CBRN Preparedness and Counterproliferation) at the GS-0340-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as the Division Chief, responsible for managing the division, and developing and implementing strategic plans and policies for the senior DOD entities in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from CBRNE incidents, countering proliferation of WMD material, and disrupting threat networks by implementing and executing operational CBRN programs.Manages implementation of multi-million dollar DOD CBRN preparedness and counterproliferation programs by planning, developing, coordinating, and executing multi-agency, multi-departmental, multi-service, multi-national activities.Provides authoritative advice, guidance, and direction on all aspects of CBRN preparedness, response, and counterproliferation operations.Exercises supervisory responsibilities for the full range of technical, administrative, and personnel management activities related to the accomplishment of mission-essential goals and objectives in assigned program areas.S. citizenMales born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service and supporting documents (See How To Apply)Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigationMay be required to successfully complete a probationary periodWork Schedule: FulltimeOvertime: OccasionallyTour of Duty: FlexibleRecruitment Incentives: Not Authorized. Supervision: Has performed supervisory responsibilities for the full range of technical, administrative, and personnel management activities related to the accomplishment of mission-essential goals and objectives in assigned program areas.CBRN / CWMD Program Management: Has been responsible for managing organizations, developing and implementing strategic plans and policies, and preparing for, and responding to, CBRNE incidents and countering proliferation of WMD related material.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
