Hospital Security Officer
You will provide direct security and related public services.
As a Hospital Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, staff, and medical professionals. Working closely with the hospital's security team and internal departments, you will provide a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and uphold all safety policies and procedures.

• Access Control: Monitor and manage entry points, screening patients, visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with hospital policies.

Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to identify safety concerns, security risks, or suspicious activity.
Incident Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, and hazardous conditions.
Vigilant Monitoring: Observe and report criminal activity, policy violations, or safety hazards that may threaten people or property.
Strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and relationship-building
Structured role requiring consistent adherence to policies and procedures
Completed High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
Friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping others.
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively—both verbally and in writing.
Professional Judgment: Able to follow established policies while exercising sound decision-making.
Customer Service Mindset: Desired Qualification of the Security Officer:

~ Previous work experience with the public in a service setting

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
