We invite you to join us in this transformation.CustodianA custodian maintains clean, safe and orderly environments by performing duties like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, office areas, the lobby, production areas and cafeterias. They are also responsible for cleaning all surfaces, replenishing supplies and operating cleaning equipment as well as helping with landscaping and snow removal. Cleaning and sanitizing: Maintenance Support: Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, assist maintenance technicians, and landscape duties and snow removal.Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols, including the safe use of chemical cleaners, machinery and Personal Protective Equipment. (Supply Management: Monitor, restock and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.Required Skills and Qualifications:Reliability: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Thoroughness in cleaning and maintenance tasks.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and cleaning and landscape equipment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in custodial and janitor work is a plus.The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Binghamton, New York is: $16.00-$19.21 per hour.
