Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Nighting shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00).
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team. The RN will be required to float among five designated hospitals based on patient care needs, ensuring high-quality nursing care is provided to mothers and newborns alike.
Responsibilities
Circulate and scrub for C-sections and assist in vaginal deliveries.
Monitor and manage patient care during labor.
Utilize Epic for electronic charting and documentation.
Provide support and education to patients and families.
Participate in high-risk obstetric care protocols and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active RN license in New Jersey.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including both circulating and scrubbing C-sections.
Must successfully pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
First time travelers are accepted but preferred candidates will have prior travel experience.
