Stryker Orthopaedics
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our Architecture team and play a key role in establishing our firm’s first in-house MEP practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. Design mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate designs
Develop and test prototypes, evaluate performance, and implement design improvements
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including electrical engineers and architects
Troubleshoot issues related to design, manufacturing, or product performance
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product design and engineering processes
Proficiency in CAD and engineering analysis tools, BIM experience preferred
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10-15+ years of experience in mechanical design
Professional Engineering (PE) license
Travel
Travel between offices for collaboration with team members and for project meetings will be required
