WellMed Medical Group , part of OptumCare , is seeking a Family Medicine physician with a strong interest in dermatology to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX . This unique role is designed for physicians who want to develop and focus a significant portion of their practice on medical dermatology while maintaining the foundation and stability of family medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity for an FM physician who enjoys procedural care, skin disease management, and long‑term patient relationships—without the volume pressure and lifestyle strain of traditional dermatology practice models.

M-F, 8-5

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Strong interest in medical dermatology
Dermatology fellowship, focused training, or prior derm experience preferred but not required
Interest in growing dermatologic expertise within a collaborative care model
Spanish language skills a plus (not required)
