General Cardiologist-Physician

OSF Multi-Specialty Groupseeks a General Cardiologist who will practice FT in Galesburg and Monmouth, IL. Provide high-quality in-hospital care to the patients. Provide on-call availability on weekdays and/or weekends as agreed upon by the parties. Maintains full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by Cardiologist or other support staff. Demonstrates positive working relationships and demonstrates collaborative team-oriented behaviors with other departments, and other members of the medical staff. Assist in the direction and supervision of the daily operation, which may include supervising advanced practice providers, physician assistants (SOC Code 29-1071), nurses (SOC Code 29-1141), and advise the Ministry CEO concerning the recruitment, selection, retention, scheduling, and termination of non-physician personnel providing professional, technical, and clerical services to the Practice. Advise the Ministry CEO with respect to the selection, retention and termination of all physician-personnel and assist in the recruitment of physicians as are required for the proper operation of the Practice. Advise Ministry CEO in the selection, maintenance, and utilization of equipment in the Physician Employment Agreement. FT, clinical base salary pay range for this position is $530,000-$582,082/yr. Requirements: M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent degree. Completed residency in Internal Medicine required. Completed Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease required. IL License to practice medicine is required. Board eligibility in Internal Medicine is required. FDEA License and State of IL License for prescribing of controlled substances are required.
