You will conduct the following responsibilities, upholding Tarian's commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.

Our Healthcare Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors -- and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property. Our Security Officers also provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment.
Completed High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
Desired Qualification of the Security Officer:

~ Previous work experience with the public in a service setting

Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a TASER
Ability to participate in and pass additional TASER training at the discretion of the TASER instructorand/or Tarian company
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Tarian company's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian company's Taser Policy
Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
