If you are looking for an opportunity to serve something bigger than yourself; The Electrician Maintenance performs rearrangement, alteration, construction, and maintenance activities on equipment.
Determines routing, location and method of installing wires, conduits, electrical equipment, fixtures and accessories.
Examines malfunctioning equipment to determine if modifications/repairs are needed and performs them as required.
Performs operational checkout of electrical systems and equipment to assure proper installation and operation.
Requires ability to read and interpret all types of maintenance blueprints and specifications; Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
Must be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if this paperwork is not provided upon arrival on date of hire).
Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.
Must have sufficient mobility to work with hand tools, climb and work in difficult positions where necessary. Must have ability to carry light, medium and heavy parts or materials.
