Workswith supervisor and supportsall assignedteam membersand equipment requirements during respectiveshift.While performing the duties listed below, the lead isrequiredto spend 85% of time on the floor.Line leaders guide the workflow and productivity of the line operators to ensure that the operators have everythingrequiredto meetthe daily customer orderproduction requirements.Line leaders have the responsibility for improving thelineproductivity and efficiency by creating processes that focus on quality and minimizing waste.The role involves training new operators and holding the operators accountable to company standards.
Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
- conduct quality checks, correct deficiencies, and initiate qualityauditsas necessary.
- Audit the floor as required by Leader Standard Work,monitorproductivity metrics, verify adherence to procedures and standard work, correct deficiencies and escalate tosupervisoras necessary.
- Communicate with oncoming shifts about any problems or issues that are occurring.
- Keeping records and recording data on inventory management, ordertrackingand the supply of materials.
Coordinate withDepartment Supervisorto provide feedback and coaching to team members as appropriate.
Implements and conducts training whenoperatingprocedures change and on an annual basis, as required by the training plan.
Serves oncross-functional teams to provide input andtake actionon special projects, as assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of manufacturing experience and lead/supervisory experience; Previouswork experience in afast-facedenvironment, preferably in the food industry
Computer skills - basic knowledge of computer programs and ability to learn inventory controlprogram
Prior training experience
Creative problem-solving skills
Passionate about food

Pay Range for Prep Lead The Prep Lead base pay range$22.77 - $24.77/hourly.The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum fornew hire salaries for the Everett, WA location only. An employee’srate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time.In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team membersas a part of any final offer.
