This position effectively operates a variety of power presses and associated equipment to manufacture metal components according to established standards and customer specifications, and completes in-process inspection.

I.'s and maintain accurate production records.
Follow established strip start procedures to minimize the risk of damage to dies and ensure strips are positioned properly prior to cycling the press.
Accurately inspect parts at predetermined intervals for visual and dimensional requirements following procedures established by Quality Assurance and/or Engineering.
Follow procedures to ensure timely movement of parts within the facility.
Maintain product identification and traceability by accurately completing required paperwork (Followers, Inspection Ticket, etc.).
Accurately enter labor hours into MES and monitor personal time and attendance weekly.
Follow all H&M procedures and policies.
High School or Technical School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

• 6 to 12 months of related experience and/or Training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to do basic math in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
