As a Barista, you are responsible for providing excellent front counter service by taking food and beverage orders, preparing requested items, and accurately processing payments. You contribute to daily operations by maintaining product knowledge, upholding brand service standards, and working collaboratively to ensure a positive guest experience.
Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
Maintain knowledge of all menu items, take guest orders, and prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
Deliver legendary Starbucks service by preparing drinks to brand specifications
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to record and reconcile transactions, maintaining an accurate cash bank
Stock and rotate supplies, including checking in warehouse orders and restocking as needed
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels throughout the shift
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
6 months of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or coffeehouse preferred
~ Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
Exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases
