Enter patient demographic and test information accurately into the computer system
- Process and accession laboratory samples for in-house testing and reference lab testing
- Set-up and prepare samples for testing and ensure that specimens are delivered to proper department for testing and placed on the instrument
- Must maintain a clean and safe working environment, wear the proper personal protective equipment, and practice and support safety in the workplace
- Must support Laboratory goals, policies, procedures, and philosophy
- Prepares samples and paperwork to be sent to appropriate reference lab or AHA location
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Data Entry experience
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Overtime opportunities (when applicable)
- Cross-training in multiple laboratory disciplines
