Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 2 years of experience, telemetry skills, and a willingness to float across units.
Details

Inpatient hospital Med/Surg unit setting
Telemetry monitoring is part of routine patient care
Travelers may float to any Med/Surg unit and may be reassigned as frequently as every 4 hours
Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application — scheduling requests will not be accepted after an offer is made
Requirements

Active MA RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration
Current certifications required and must be in hand prior to consideration: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
Telemetry experience required
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
Willingness and ability to float to any Med/Surg unit required
One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information

This is a 16-week contract
RTO is limited to no more than 5 days for the duration of the assignment
Med/Surg skills checklist current within the past year is required for consideration
