Part Time Porter (Weekends)

The PorterThe Porter (Part Time Weekends Only) is responsible for ensuring that buildings, facilities, and restrooms are maintained in a clean and organized manner. Key tasks include cleaning floors, washing walls and windows, tidying showers and restrooms, and disposing of trash. Additionally, the role may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of needs for repairs and cleaning debris from common areas.Compensation: $18 - $19 an hour FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.Hours: Part Time Saturday and Sunday.Job Responsibilities:Clean Main Lobby & OfficesEmpty trash cansDustWipe down door handles and clean glassWipe down front desk shieldClean Fitness FacilityClean glass doors, wipe down all door handles and framesWipe down all equipment 2x per dayStudio equipment wiped down and placed in proper location as neededFitness studio exterior patios- pick up leaf debris, Wipe down furniturePick up trash on floorsEmpty trash binsWipe down toilets, restock paper supplies and soap/shampoo in locker room/restroomDust all lighting fixturesMop restroom floorsClean Clubhouse/Kitchen/Bar AreaClean glass doors, wipe down all door handles and framesWipe down furniture, clean glass tablesWipe down countersPick up trash on floorsEmpty trash binsWipe down toilets, restock paper supplies and soap/shampoo in locker room/restroomDust all lighting fixturesMop restroom floorsSweep floorsDust window sealsWipe down kitchen sink and counter topsDust artwork and décorEnsure all furniture is properly arrangedVacuum carpetsClean Park AreasWipe down furniture, empty trash, pick up trash off floorClean Pool AreasEnsure all furniture is properly arrangedPick up any trash in all facilitiesEmpty trash bins and put new linerWipe down exterior shower fixturesPick up/use blower for any leaf debris on groundWipe down light fixturesWipe down door handles/door framesClean the main sidewalk and entrywayPower wash any areas that require extra cleaningSweep/blow leaf debris off sidewalkRemove any pet waste/clean off sidewalkWipe down main entry glass doorsRemove any leaf debris from entry fountainsPick up any trash off sidewalk/gutter/landscape bedsAnd any other duties as assignedSkills & Qualifications:An ability to follow oral and written directions keep accurate records, fill out logs and journals, and perform administrative operational functions.Must be proficient in English.Education & Experience:One year of experience of janitorial or custodial work.
