Nurse (Health Care)

CVOR ORT Position
Location: Richmond, VA

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
Job Description
The CVOR ORT will work within the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and be responsible for scrubbing cardiac cases that require bypass and related procedures. This includes thoracic surgery cases such as da Vinci assisted procedures, open thoracotomies, VATS, and the initiation of ECMO, as well as performing pericardial windows.
Responsibilities

Assist in scrubbing a variety of cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacements, and aortic dissections.
Participate in thoracic surgeries, including da Vinci assisted lobectomies and mediastinal lymph node biopsies.
Initiate and manage ECMO procedures as required.
Be available for on-call duties starting at 03:00 PM, including weekend calls on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when assigned.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Proficient in scrubbing for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
