We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ambulatory Nurse to join our healthcare team in La Plata, United States. As an Ambulatory Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in an outpatient setting. Assess patients' health conditions and provide appropriate nursing care in an ambulatory setting

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians

Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems

Triage patients and prioritize care based on medical needs

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Work Experience

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in ambulatory care nursing

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems

Knowledge of ambulatory care practices, procedures, and healthcare regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in ambulatory nursing
