Our products and capabilities are sought after by civilian and military organizations spanning numerous global markets, including Aviation, Communication, Electronic Warfare (EW/ECM/CIED), Industrial, Missile/UAV, Radar, Satcom, Space, and Test and Measurement. Mechanical Engineer with the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Develop and design mechanical components and assemblies for RF MIC modules and sub-systems, including key contributor in component design - material and manufacturing method selection, analysis of mechanical stress and compatibility, load distribution, tolerancing, and design for manufacturability, including preparation of detailed documentation and in-depth technical review.

Perform engineering calculations to support design concepts, including stress analysis/FEA for mechanical robustness, and tolerance models.

Collaborate with electrical, process, and manufacturing engineering teams to insure seamless integration of electrical, process, and manufacturability into designs and design fluidity.

Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.

General knowledge of working materials such as Aluminum, Molybdenum, Kovar, and ceramic is a plus.

Some experience with FEA modeling setup & model check to ensure accurate analysis.

Evaluate validation requirement from customer and develop adequate test methods & design jigs.

Evaluate design alternatives based on cost, quality and production feasibility.

Create test reports and present to customers.

Lead product testing and coordinate various activities.

Document assembly and test procedures, programs and test systems and part set up, and creation of BOM's and routings in the company's ERP/PDM System.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years of related experience.

Highly effective design skills in CAD (SolidWorks).

Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

US Citizen with ability to attain/maintain Government Security Clearance.
