Travel Emergency Room RN / ER Registered Nurse - Nights

Health Saviours is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position Description Type of patients on the unit: Very high acuity unit. Contractors will see a heavy load of strokes, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health and sepsis cases. They will also see some trauma but this is not trauma designated unit. Security is onsite 24-7 SHIFT: NIGHTS 7PM - 7AM REQUIRED Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS certification via AHA required ACLS certification via AHA required PALS certification via AHA required De-Escalation certification required RN License in state of employment or compact Every other weekend On Call Requirement: No call Floating Requirement / Locations: No floating Nurse / Patient Ratio: 4:1 EMR Used: Epic Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs Summary: The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation. Education/Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
