Medical Assistant

Performs a variety of patient care activities and assists the provider and nursing staff to maintain the highest standard practice of care. Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

High School Diploma or equivalent-required

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)-preferred

Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and public

Ability to maintain quality control standards and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations

Basic computer skills-required

Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing/procedures such as x-rays and non-waived testing

Graduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing program.

Ability to maintain quality control standard and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations.

Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs.
