They oversee testing processes throughout the product lifecycle and ensure that quality assurance practices are well-documented and consistently followed.This is a hybrid role working out of our Cincinnati, OH or Burlington, VT office a minimum of 3 days each week.Develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and API-based applicationsConduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality across user workflowsCollaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverageMaintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and suites for web and API testingExecute and analyze automated test runs; identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and validate fixesPartner with developers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test reliabilityParticipate in cross-functional reviews of requirements, specifications, and design documents for quality risksKey Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceQA or software testing experience in web-based applicationsStrong understanding of functional and exploratory testing methodologiesHands-on experience maintaining automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.)Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, pytest, etc.) and integration into CI/CD environmentsStrong organizational and communication skills to produce and maintain clear documentationExposure to the architecture of large-scale, high-traffic web applicationsExperience in or exposure to regulated or healthcare environments preferredNice to Have:Familiarity with data validation and analytics testing for backend servicesPrior experience supporting validation and audit readiness in regulated domains (e.g., healthcare, finance)The annual US base salary for this full-time position is $85,000 + equity + benefits.
