Job descriptionLocation: Palm BeachPosition: PARAMEDICFull time(*Part Time available, requirements 1 shift per week.)Shift: 12hr and 24hr shifts availableStarting Salary Range for Full Time: $59,488.00 - $73,216.00 per yearResponsibilities:Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients in needAssess patients' conditions and administer appropriate medical treatmentPerform airway management, including intubation and ventilationMonitor and record vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levelsUtilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionalsConduct physical examinations and gather patient medical historyAdminister injections and medications as directed by medical protocolsPerform venipuncture for blood draws and IV placementTransport patients safely to medical facilities, such as hospitals or clinicsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careExperience:Previous experience as a Paramedic or in a similar role is preferredStrong knowledge of human anatomy and physiologyFamiliarity with emergency room procedures and protocolsAbility to lift heavy objects and assist with patient movementProficient in administering medications and performing basic medical procedures.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
