Travel Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - ER

Position: Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech (Ultrasound) in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting located in Kremmling, Colorado. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,104 to $2,214 per week, with guaranteed hours of 32 per week. Shift: Days. This assignment places you in a community hospital environment with emergency and outpatient imaging needs, requiring solid general ultrasound skills and the ability to work within a small radiology team.

Perform two-dimensional ultrasound imaging of internal organs and structures as ordered to aid in diagnosis and medical management.

• Acquire and interpret, within department protocols, high-quality ultrasound images; document findings and assist with preliminary interpretation as directed.
• Prepare patients, position them appropriately, and ensure comfort while maintaining efficient patient flow in a rural hospital setting.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely; manage equipment, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiology and other clinical teams to coordinate examinations, communicate results, and support timely patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, organize and store imaging data, and ensure correct labeling and image archival.

General Ultrasound experience and certification required

• Echo experience/certification a plus
• NBE certification if Echo performed
• Ability to work effectively in a rural Critical Access Hospital environment
