Job Title: Project Architect

Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited university.

Minimum of 5 years of working experience in architectural design.

Strong knowledge of building systems, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Proficiency in Revit for design and documentation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for production and coordination.

Experience developing building designs, obtaining site plan approvals, and producing fully integrated construction documents.

Experience in construction documentation, bidding assistance, and construction administration.

Demonstrated skills in architectural design and project management.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and project teams.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and manage project teams.

Experience using SketchUp for conceptual and 3D design visualization.

Experience working on retail or similar project types.

Experience working on projects across multiple regions or states.

The Project Architect leads the design and delivery of complex architectural projects from concept through construction. This role requires strong knowledge of building systems, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, as well as proven experience in developing building designs, obtaining site plan approvals, and producing fully integrated construction documents. The Project Architect collaborates closely with clients, guides project teams, and ensures high-quality, well-coordinated outcomes with a strong focus on detail, communication, and leadership.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
