What you will do

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and hospital or regulatory standards.

Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies/protocols, medication administration, storage procedures and controlled substance regulations.

Document patient care services by charting patient and department records.

Provide resources to patients who have gone through a traumatic injury or event.

Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Required Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current State or compact state Registered Nurse Licensure Current BCLS certification must be available upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment Current ACLS certification must be available upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment Specialty Certification
