Full Time Physiatrist Needed

50,727 - $64,233 Salary is based on CBA Union negotiated terms w/ 10yr credit cap.
The Physical Therapist provides services to students with physical and mobility needs to support their ability to access and participate in the educational environment. This role focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to improve students' functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence within the school setting.
The Physical Therapist works collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in both general and special education settings.
Develop and implement therapy interventions aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
Adjust interventions based on student performance and needs.
Support district initiatives related to inclusion, MTSS, and student services.
Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom settings.
Recommend and support the use of adaptive equipment, positioning devices, and environmental modifications.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and observed outcomes.
Provide training and consultation to staff on mobility, positioning, and physical support strategies.
Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of therapy equipment.
Participate in required events outside the regular workday (e.g., conferences, open houses).
Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
Valid Illinois Physical Therapy license required.
Student Support, Engagement, and Staff Development:
Collaborate with staff to implement accommodations and physical supports within the classroom environment.
Provide consultation and training to staff on positioning, mobility, and safety strategies.
Increased use of evidence-based practices in therapy and service delivery.
