Part time Adult/Child Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient psychiatric care to patients of all ages and care settings.

Conduct patient evaluations, formulate treatment plans, and deliver psychotherapy.

Supervise newly graduated psychiatric nurse practitioners and provide teaching support.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians (therapists, neuro‑psychologists, nurse practitioners) in a collegial environment.

Participate in peer consultation groups and Grand Rounds, and stay current on evidence‑based practices.

Utilize the EMR system and electronic prescribing; billing and administrative responsibilities are managed by dedicated support staff.

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of completing residency) in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Valid medical license in Massachusetts (or willingness to obtain before start date).

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
