CNC Operator

Operators use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform various functions. CNC Operators must be responsible and adhere to all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and mechanical aptitude are essential. The goal is to produce high-quality parts by programming machines to perform the correct operations.

Performance Expectations

Prepare to load and unload raw materials and parts onto the machines.

Ensure the quality of products produced by the manufacturing cell, including visual inspection and measurement using hand gages.

Verify conformance of machined or assembled parts using hand gages, CMM reports, and other measuring methods.

Understand purge and contain procedures for quality issues.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Mechanical inclination and basic manufacturing knowledge.

Prior experience as a machine operator is preferred.

Basic computer skills, reading, and math aptitude are a plus.
