We are currently hiring for Direct Support Professionals at NES in Vernal. Our organization operates 19 homes, many staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a fun, rewarding career with plenty of opportunities to grow.

No experience or certifications are necessary — we will provide all the training needed for the right candidates.

Shift Options

One (1) – Full-time 40 hours a week – Saturday & Sunday 9a-9p with two days during the week 3p-11p.

Two (2) – Part-time: 24 hours a week – Saturday & Sunday 9a-9p can add one day a week 3p-11p.

Two (2) – PRN: Work shifts as needed.

One (1) – Graveyard: Friday 11p-9a, Saturday 9p-9a, & Sunday 9p-9a. 34 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.

Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.

Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.

Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities, outings, and appointments.

Uphold resident rights while ensuring a safe and clean living environment.

Foster positive relationships with clients by providing emotional support and companionship.

Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress as required.

Skills

Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices, particularly in senior care and home community care settings.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.

Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.

Ability to monitor patients effectively, ensuring their health and safety at all times.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.

A compassionate approach to caregiving that respects resident rights and promotes independence.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older (for insurance purposes).

Must have a valid state ID or current driver's license.

Must have a Social Security card for the background check.
