We're looking for experienced Foreman Carpenters who lead by example, take ownership of their projects, and know how to keep crews productive, safe, and focused on quality.If you're the type of carpenter who naturally takes charge, solves problems in the field, and keeps projects moving forward while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship, we'd like to talk with you.What You'll Be DoingAs a Foreman Carpenter, you'll be responsible for leading carpentry crews and executing retail construction projects from start to finish.Millwork, cabinetry, fixture, display, and décor package installationRough carpentry, framing, drywall, and interior finish workWall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessory installationRetail remodels, tenant improvements, and store refresh projectsIn addition to performing carpentry work, you'll:Lead and coordinate daily activities of carpenters and assistant carpentersPlan work activities and sequence tasks to maintain production goalsRead and interpret plans, specifications, and project schedulesPerform layout and ensure installations meet project requirementsMonitor workmanship and maintain high quality standardsCoordinate with project management, subcontractors, vendors, and store personnelConduct daily safety meetings and maintain a safe jobsiteForecast material needs and communicate potential issues before they impact the scheduleTrain and mentor less experienced team membersHelp deliver projects on time and to customer expectationsWhat We're Looking For7+ years of commercial carpentry experience3+ years of experience leading crews or serving as a Lead Carpenter or ForemanExperience with retail, commercial, tenant improvement, or remodel constructionStrong skills in framing, drywall, finish carpentry, fixture installation, and millworkAbility to read blueprints, drawings, and specificationsProven ability to lead teams while maintaining productivity and qualityExperience coordinating multiple trades in active construction environmentsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseAbility to travel and stay overnight as project schedules requireCommitment to safety, accountability, and teamworkWhat Success Looks LikeYou are the person the team looks to when challenges arise.You take ownership of the project, maintain momentum, and hold yourself and your crew to a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.You understand that successful projects require more than skilled carpentry.
