Taxable hourly pay up to $57/hour, plus applicable housing and meal stipends for eligible travelers.

Nexus MedPro is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Stepdown Unit . This is an exciting opportunity for nurses with strong cardiac telemetry experience who thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Stepdown/Telemetry

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights | 3x12‑Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Deliver high‑quality nursing care to adult patients in a high‑acuity Cardiac Stepdown/Telemetry unit.

Care for pre‑ and post‑procedure cardiac patients, including those recovering from cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/ICD implantation, PCI, and peripheral vascular interventions.

Administer and titrate cardiac medications and vasoactive drips according to physician orders and hospital protocols.

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies while maintaining patient safety.

Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning.

Active RN license.

Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry experience.

First‑time travelers accepted with 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry experience.

Cardiac Telemetry

Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation

Pacemaker care

PCU/Stepdown experience.

Wound VAC and advanced wound care.

Epic electronic medical record experience.

Previous travel nursing experience.
