What Does a PRN - Home Health Speech Therapist Do?
As a PRN Home Health Speech Therapist at Inspired Homecare, you'll have the freedom to set your availability and schedule visits with your patients accordingly, while collaborating with a team of supportive healthcare professionals.
To be successful as a PRN Home Health Speech Therapist at Inspired Homecare, there are a few key skills and qualifications that we believe are essential. First and foremost, you'll need to have a current license and/or certification as a Speech Therapist issued in Illinois. In addition, a minimum of 1 year of home health experience is required, as this will give you a solid foundation in understanding the unique challenges and dynamics of providing therapy in a home setting. We also require candidates to have a valid CPR certification, ensuring that you can act swiftly and effectively in case of emergencies.
As a PRN Home Health Speech Therapist, you'll need a valid driver's license and auto insurance, as you'll be traveling to patients' homes to provide care. Familiarity with Home Care Home Base is preferred, as this software can streamline your documentation and help you stay organized in managing your caseload.
